Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while managing transactions efficiently. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring customer satisfaction in our convience store environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Stock shelves, Front Face and ensure product displays are organized and appealing.
- Rotate stock to ensure First in, First Out (FIFO)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the store, ensuring that the Snapshot of Success is first and foremost of every team member.
- Communicate effectively with Managers and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Experience in retail sales, preferably in a convience store setting.
- Proficient in using POS systems for transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and other team members.
- Suggestive Selling to increase sales and help grow the business.
- Ability to show initiative and complete daily tasks with minimal direction.
