Software Engineer in Test

Conviso Inc is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). As an SDET, you will be responsible for advising on development and executing automated testing in various test environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Quality Assurance (QA), and Automated testing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on the design, development, and implementation of automated testing solutions within test environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to create software test plans, scripts, and execute tests to validate software functionality and performance.
• Ensure the efficient execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes.
• Design and develop automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools to improve the testing process.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to test automation frameworks, and optimize testing environments.
• Analyze test results and work with developers to resolve issues and improve overall product quality.
• Maintain and update test environments to ensure they reflect accurate, real-world conditions.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of professional experience in software testing, with expertise in UAT, QA, and automated testing environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in developing and executing automated test scripts using modern test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and test-driven development (TDD).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex test environments.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
