We are Team Convoy, we are a distributor of construction materials, we supply roofing, building envelope and below grade materials and we want folks with great people skills on our team because, in the end - people make all the difference.We're looking for self-sufficient, motivated Class A / B CDL Driver for our Bellingham location at 2101 Woburn Street who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
- Inspect truck and / or trailer daily
- Load and unload materials
- Ensure load securement including the installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport
- Match shipments to sales invoices
- Use Samsara to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency and customer service
- Operate truck safelyRequirements
- Class A / B Driver's License
- Clean CVOR abstract
- Passionate about great service & teamwork
- Prefer a minimum of 3 years driving experience
- Dedicated to safety, on and off the road
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Experience in the construction / roofing business would be an asset
- Ability to drive trucks with a manual transmission
- Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Pride in being on time, self-sufficient, and able to provide knowledgeable, excellent customer service
- Read and write in English, spoken Spanish is an assetThe Offer
