Investment Research Analyst

Conway is seeking a Research Analyst to help identify new investment managers, and assist in performing due diligence and monitoring of existing approved managers. This position will also assist in the production of monthly and quarterly client reports. This individual will work in conjunction with other research staff and members of the firm’s Investment Committee.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in investment manager meetings and the due diligence process
• Prepare detailed meeting notes and investment write-ups
• Maintain qualitative and quantitative information for prospective and approved managers within the firm’s proprietary databases
• Prepare monthly manager performance updates
• Prepare quarterly manager/fund profiles
• Participate on ad hoc research projects
• Provide support to internal investment professionals and other business partners

Qualifications:

• College degree, strong quantitative skills, and proficiency with Excel & Powerpoint
• CFA and/or CAIA designation (or interest in pursuing)
• Genuine interest for capital markets research and investment due diligence
• Ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing
• Strong attention to detail
• Proactive approach and active listener
• Ability to work in team-oriented environment
• Ability to travel on a limited basis
• 1-3 years (or more) of investment manager due diligence preferred
