Position Summary:
The Security Field Training Officer (FTO) will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs for the Security Department, conducting various technical and non-technical training to enhance the performance of employees. The FTO will perform a variety of duties, including, but not limited to managing the daily operations of the facilities access control system, CCTV camera platform, Panic Alarm monitoring and departmental KPI’s.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- Previous law enforcement/security experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) certification as South Carolina Certified Private Security Officer required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design training.
- Identifying training needs
- Deliver training, both in-person, online or a combination of both
- Analyze information from assessment tools, interviews, and other sources to identify learning needs for individuals and teams.
- Ensure training is within budget and managing training resources and records.
- Plan and schedule training activities and arranging facilities.
- Work with department management, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
- Always display exemplary core customer service skills.
- Consistently display effective verbal communication skills.
- Completes other duties as assigned by department leadership.
