What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Practice Provider - Specialty Care position at Conway Regional Health System?
Overview The Specialty Care Physician Extender is responsible for providing patient care in an orthopedic outpatient, surgical, and / or inpatient setting under the supervision of a licensed orthopedic surgeon. The primary location for this position will be at the Conway Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center (COSMC). There will be an expectation for this position to provide periodic Orthopedic Urgent Care coverage, including some evenings. SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION : This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to Patients / customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services. Qualifications A current, unencumbered R.N. license and an A.P.N. license from the State of Arkansas OR Physician Assistant License from the State of Arkansas. Other education and experience may be substituted (if applicable) for the required minimum job qualifications with the approval of the Corporate Director of Human Resources.A current, unencumbered R.N. license and an A.P.N. license from the State of Arkansas OR Physician Assistant License from the State of Arkansas.
