What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inpatient Behavioral Health Therapist position at Conway Regional?
The Therapist will provide quality individual and group therapies, as well as oversee case management services to patients on the Behavioral health unit using professional standards, and according to their licensure and or certification. The therapist will assist in receiving patients, working with families and placement of patients at discharge, as well as coordinating immediate aftercare services.
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:
This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of
Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to
Patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and
supporting the delivery health care related services.
Qualifications
- Master’s in Social Work or Counseling, required
- Current licensure in field related to required degree OR be eligible for licensure exam.
- Must have current Provisional License granted by the appropriate State Licensing Board if official licensure is pending or test has not been completed
- Must pass licensure exam within one year of employment
- Previous healthcare experience as a Bachelor’s level case manager in a behavioral health setting, preferred
