Ticket Agent
Duties:
As a ticket agent, you are the face of Conway Scenic Railroad. We create an environment of efficiency and pleasantness. Your duties include answering the phone, replying to emails, dealing with customers in person, running and balancing a cash drawer, printing and filing tickets, answering voicemails, and completing any other tasks assigned to you by your supervisor. Our main goal is to treat each customer with the utmost respect, because we run our business selling one ticket at a time.
Skills and Competencies:
Necessary skills include providing great customer service by handling customers with a pleasant expression and tone. You will be working with a phone system and computer for the majority of your time, basic knowledge of these items is preferred. You will need to be organized and flexible as things may change abruptly. Opening and balancing a cash drawer is a daily requirement as well. Working well with others and handling yourself professionally are always expected.
Salary and Trial Period:
Salaries are based on experience and set by the HR department during the hiring process. We also have a 90-day trial period for all new hires.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
