As a Lead Cleaner, you will oversee cleaning operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team of cleaners, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Train new staff on housekeeping management practices, safety protocols, and proper use of cleaning equipment.
- Collaborate with management to address any issues related to cleaning operations or staff performance.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and available.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any client concerns related to cleanliness promptly.
- Perform hands-on cleaning tasks as needed, including operating a floor scrubber and maintaining common areas.
- Previous experience in supervising or leading a cleaning team is preferred.
- Strong background in housekeeping management within commercial or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with custodial practices, including knowledge of various cleaning products and techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with team members and clients alike.
- Start as early as 6:00 a.m. until no later than lunch.
- Afternoon shifts start at 4:00p.m until no later than 8:00 p.m.
- Sometimes you may be asked to work a split shift.
- You may be asked to complete tasks with cleaners or independently.
- We rotate weekends generally.
- Locations vary day to day however all are within city limits of Vidalia or Lyons.
- You will be responsible for traveling to each location.
- Driver license
- Working smart phone with internet ( no text now numbers or WIFI ONLY enabled phones)
- Dependable transportation
- Over 18 years of age
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be able to work early mornings or evening shift
- Prior cleaning experience preferred
- Prior experience overseeing employees preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and walk up stairs.
