SUMMARY of POSITION
The Housekeeping Supervisor position is a hands-on position responsible for providing supervision and direction for all housekeeping activities of the hotel; ensuring the highest level of cleanliness; and maintaining guest satisfaction. The position is also responsible for ensuring efficient operations of the housekeeping department in accordance with the brand standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Complete Departmental, Yonah Capital, and Brand standards training as assigned.
- Maintains a clean and neat appearance at all times. A complete uniform (or business dress for non-uniformed associates) must be worn at all times in public areas, including name tag.
- Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Manage the daily operation in maintaining the cleanliness, maintenance, and sanitation of the guest rooms, public space, and back of house areas.
- Utilizes provided systems for inspecting and managing the quality of housekeeping and laundry services provided and to ensure timeliness and efficiency of services.
- Oversees inspection of housekeeping/laundry activities to ensure procedures are followed according to standards.
- Attract, retain, and motivate housekeeping associates while providing a safe work environment.
- Interview, hire, schedule, develop, empower, and discipline all housekeeping associates as required. Acquire working knowledge of the property and all facilities to respond to guest questions effectively.
- Supervise and inspect the daily cleaning of guest rooms, public areas and back of house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs and health/sanitation standards and regulations.
- Develop a close day-to-day working relationship with other key members of management.
- Compiles and reports information on housekeeping activities and expenses, provides information to guest services on the status of guest rooms to ensure accurate and timely reporting on room availability.
- Follows up on maintenance repairs and coordinates with maintenance department to ensure hotel quality standards are met.
- Maintain Lost and Found.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma required.
- Prior experience in utilization and functionality of brand hired for.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience
- Must be flexible
