Cook Chevrolet & Subaru is searching for an experienced General Sales Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at our dealership in Steamboat Springs, CO. Cook Auto is headquartered in Craig, CO and has been locally family-owned in NW Colorado since 1962. Our location is Steamboat Springs is a new Subaru location alongside a satellite GM-authorized Chevrolet Sales dealership.

As General Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Increasing Sales Volume by Supervising and Managing the Sales Team
• Oversight of Day-to-Day Operations for Sales and F&I
• Manage New Subaru & Used Vehicle Inventory
• Work F&I Office as Needed
• Manage & Utilize Sales CRM System- Dealer Socket
• Recruit and Hire Necessary Staff Positions
• Review Online Inventory for Accuracy and Marketability
• Generate Ideas for Sales Events

As a General Sales Manager at Cook, you will receive:

• Salary Range for This Position Will Range From $85-110k Per Year Based on Experience and Performance Based Bonuses

Requirements:

• 2 Years Automotive Management Experience.
• Sales and F&I Experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to obtain a Colorado Vehicle Sales License

A little information about our area: Steamboat Springs, CO is approximately 3 hours from major metro areas and serves a rural but beautiful area. The economy primarily based on tourism, skiing and 2nd home ownership. Steamboat Springs Ski Resort is famous for 400 inches of “Champagne Powder” each ski season. Craig, the other economic driver in the area, centers around energy- primarily coal- with two large coal-fired electric plants and three large coal mines.

We are located at 6,200 ft of elevation in a high desert climate system, which means beautiful, sunny summers, rarely getting over 90 degrees, with low humidity. Winters are long with lots of snow and cold temperatures- below zero temps in the winter are common. With the variations in climate and true four seasons, there are practically unlimited outdoor possibilities.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
