Summary
Cook Children's (in Fort Worth, TX) is accepting applications for a half-time (.50 FTE) inpatient pediatric hospitalist physician to join our hospitalist group at Cook Children's Medical Center. The group attends both to patients without assigned staff physicians, as well as, patients from the majority of local primary care physicians who now choose to use the hospitalist service when inpatient care for their patients becomes necessary. The group also provides bedside pediatric teaching to both medical students and PL3 family practice residents.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required
- Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for pediatrics
- Board certified / Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date)
- American Heart Association BLS Certified
