We have partnered with an early-stage startup building an invite-only platform designed to connect cultural tastemakers with exclusive, off-market experiences. This venture is led by experienced operators from the entertainment and tech industries who are rethinking event access, guest management, and influencer engagement at scale. They are shaping the future of how high-profile events are curated and experienced by combining technology with cultural insight. They’ve spent the past year building the initial version of the platform and are now seeking a hands-on technical leader to drive the next stage of growth.
About the Role:
As the Founding Engineer / CTO, you’ll continue to architect, build, and scale our platform from where it is today. You’ll collaborate closely with the CEO and founding team to align technical execution with business vision. You’ll take ownership of the technical roadmap, lead development across web and mobile, and drive innovation in guest management, check-in systems/ticketing, influencer integrations, CRM and more.
You Should Only Apply If:
- You have 5 years of engineering experience with full-stack expertise
- You’ve built and scaled consumer-facing platforms (social, event tech, or marketplaces preferred)
- You’re proficient in modern frameworks like React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and Firebase
- You have cloud infrastructure experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or similar
- You’re experienced with mobile development (React Native or Swift/Kotlin a plus)
- You have previous startup or founding experience
- You’re comfortable leading engineering teams and building from scratch
You Should NOT Apply If:
- You’re not proficient in React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, or Firebase
- You don’t have experience working on consumer-facing products
- You’re unfamiliar with cloud infrastructure like AWS or Google Cloud
- You’re not hands-on with both web and mobile development
- You’re not comfortable operating in fast-paced, early-stage environments
