Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assembly Specialist to join our team. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for fabricating raw materials into specified products using various mechanical and/or manual techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Read, understand and follow specifications for product being manufactured.
- Fabricate raw materials into specified products using various mechanical and/or manual techniques.
- Perform various inspections and/or testing as required.
- Accurate completion of necessary documentation.
- Follow all quality system documents.
- Report to work punctually and as scheduled.
- Perform fine manipulative processes, using a microscope/micro forge, video screen, and/or other equipment for the majority of the day, seated and/or standing at a workstation.
- Perform work in a Controlled Environment with special gowning/clothing and hygiene requirements.
- Perform various computer functions.
- Perform routine maintenance on certain machinery used in production.
- Provide training of production personnel.
- Assist in introducing new or improved products into production.
- Provide input to supervisor/manager to improve department operation and efficiency.
- Identify and report possible preventative and corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must pass a post-offer physical exam and drug screening.
- Ability to read, write and understand product documentation and specification drawings.
- Have the written skills to accurately complete paperwork.
- Ability to use measuring devices and gauges.
- Perform basic math skills and applications including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division including the ability to understand decimals.
- Basic computer entry/retrieval skills.
- Must have well-developed eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity skills.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
