Overview
The Studio Producer will work with stakeholders to develop content and support the video and audio production process from intake to project completion. This role will utilize the Cook Brand Essence while working closely with project initiators, Agency colleagues, and unit team members to establish and execute video, audio, and live web stream projects aligned to the company Vision and business plans. Utilizing broadcast level studio and field technologies, the Studio / Video unit creates live (web stream) and recorded video and audio content, enabling stakeholders, customers, and employees to connect people, products, and brand globally.
Responsibilities
- Act as Producer of record on video, audio, and live web stream project assignments with a wide range of complexity and importance.
- Lead video, audio, and live web stream project assignments through established company processes, from inception through final delivery, in a deadline-driven environment.
- Work with company project initiators to understand goals and target audiences for audio and video productions.
- Ideate concepts and bring new ideas for productions / post-production.
- Plan, collect, and verify digital media assets required for productions.
- Collaborate with project initiators, internal Agency colleagues, and unit team members to establish timelines and milestones for all stages of the production process.
- Plan production outlines, scripts, run of show rundowns, and all other studio or field choreography for live web streams and / or recorded productions.
- Communicate closely with post-production team members regarding content edits needed for project completion and distribution of recorded content.
- Produce assignments hands-on, including as the active lead Producer in the control room during rehearsals, live streams, and recorded productions.
- Help troubleshoot before and during productions.
- Serve in other studio and / or field support roles during productions as needed (floor director, teleprompter operator, production assistant, etc.).
- Coordinate graphics and video support for on-screen display and in-studio monitors.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to continually improve studio and field production capabilities.
