Overview
The Flex Force Operator 3 position is trained to work across Cook Polymer Technology (CPT), Cook Incorporated (CINC) and AMER Distribution Center (AMER DC).
Responsibilities
• Cross train on assignments across entities• AMER DC core processes: pick, tally, and replenish finished products in a warehouse environment• CPT core processes: operate machines, sort and inspect plastic components• CINC core processes: build or inspect medical devices in various manufacturing departments• Ensure compliance of, and adherence to, internal procedures, quality systems procedures and processes across entities• Must be a champion for Cook Medical values and goals• Must be flexible to work various 1st shift schedules and potentially 2nd shift, with advanced notice, depending on business priority• Must have reliable means of transportation to work across facilities in Bloomington and Ellettsville
Qualifications
• Minimum 18 years of age• High School Diploma or equivalent required• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing and/or warehouse required• Demonstrated record of high performance with regular and punctual attendance
Physical Requirements:
• Must meet the Visual Acuity Screening Requirements of 20/40 vision using both eyes with or without correction and pass the Color Blind Test• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds• Frequent repetitive motion• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to grasp, carry, feel or touch; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; communicate
• Proper attire/clothing and personal protective equipment/clothing as required within Controlled Manufacturing Areas• Moderate exposure to noise level in the work environment that is moderate to occasionally loud• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA
