The HVAC Technician for CFC Properties provides high quality, efficient and timely repair, preventative maintenance and installation for commercial and residential properties.
Responsibilities
• Repair, install & troubleshoot all HVAC related systems to include; heating & air, boilers, chillers, hot water heaters etc.• Maintain HVAC schedules for routine maintenance and yearly inspections• Organize and schedule maintenance work with tenants and contractors• Maintain, repair, troubleshoot fire detection and suppression systems• Perform regular tests of fire panel systems• Troubleshoot electrical controls & devices• Review yearly HVAC service contracts, make recommendations• Coordinate and oversee special projects• Assist other technicians as needed; troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems• Perform property inspections as needed• Snow removal• Answer emergency maintenance calls on a scheduled basis
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements• Maintain regular and punctual attendance• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards• Must have effective oral and written communication skills• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
Qualifications
• 2-4 years commercial building maintenance or equivalent experience required• Minimum of 2 years HVAC experience required w/active EPA Universal certification• Familiarity with and ability to use smart phones, MS Outlook, Adobe PDF
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Physical Requirements:
• Able to climb stairs, ladders.• Ability to stand for long periods of time.• Able to bend & lift.• Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally
• Utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, machinery, etc.
