Overview
The Supply Chain Operations Specialist at Cook Medical is dedicated to planning and executing Supply Chain Operations initiatives. Elements of the role include project management, process improvement, extensive planning and an emphasis on quality tasks or activities.
Responsibilities
• Plan and implement projects to ensure the flow of products from supplier or manufacturer to customer• Build out global capabilities to ensure best practices are being shared and implemented• Ensure quality and business related documents for products are controlled and up to date• Create change orders in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system associated with part number creation and information• Maintain and update attributes in Global Product File (GPF)• Create and update procedures, while having a focus on continuous improvement and seeking efficiencies• Anticipate delays and address roadblocks that may hinder the progress of projects• Document and investigate non-conformances and complaints related to products or service• Ensure Post Market surveillance responsibilities and actions are managed appropriately with suppliers• Use data driven analysis to identify root cause problem areas and leads corrective action
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or eqivalent relative experience• Must have experience with quality and documentation control practices within the past 5 years• Prior project management experience is preferred• Prior experience in an action-oriented and deadline driven role is preferred• Prior experience working effectively with global team members is preferred• Experience with an Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and change control is preferred• Continuous improvement experience is preferred

Physical Requirements:
• Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, etc.• Works under general office environmental conditions• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to grasp, carry, feel or touch; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear• This position is a hybrid position, which requires regular on-site visits, up to 2-3 times per week• Must reside within a reasonable distance, within a 1 hour radius via car, of Cook Medical in Bloomington, Indiana
