We have a full-time and casual position for a Registered or Registry eligible Radiologic Technologist in our Imaging department. This position is day shift, with rotating on call coverage.

Compensation Details
Base Pay Rate:
- Radiologic Technologist I: $29.26 - $37.62 per hour (depending on experience)
- Radiologic Technologist II: $30.17 - $38.81 per hour (depending on experience)
(Eligible for Rad Tech II rate after successful completion of the probationary period and able to take call without assistance)
Additional Certification Pay:
- Earn an extra $1.25 per hour for your first additional Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) certification
- Earn another $1.25 per hour for your second additional Rad Tech certification
That’s up to $2.50 per hour in additional pay for holding two extra certifications!
On call Rate:
- $8.00 per hour
- $10.00 per hour for Holiday

To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, escort patients to dressing and/or exam rooms, provide verbal and/or written instructions, assist patients in positioning body parts to be imaged, explain procedures, and observe patients to ensure patient care, safety, and comfort during scan.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes and position radiologic equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance according to specification of examination and use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure safety of patients and team members.
• Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order, and report equipment malfunctions to Radiology Manager and maintain adequate radiologic supplies.
• Perform related administrative duties: including but not limited to scheduling patients, placing orders, archiving in PACS, moving images to reading platform, completing necessary exam specific forms, maintaining repeat, QC, and patient holding logs, and collecting STATS data.
• Assess orders to the correct needs for Prior Authorization, exam performance, and billing.
• Troubleshoot issues pertaining to patient accounts, orders, exams, prior imaging, and all other related occurrences.
• Perform EKG tests, DEXA scans and CT scans independently and proficiently. (On the job training provided.)
• Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with facility-wide and departmental policies and procedures.
• Exhibit flexibility in response to changing work situations (schedule changes, leaving early, staying late, or taking late breaks when workload calls for it).
• Rotate through the call schedule according to the weekly needs of the department (the amount of call will depend on the number of employees within the department).
• Actively participate in the Compliance Program, education/in-services, competencies and demonstrate compliance with required laws and regulations.
• Maintain current Licensure/Registration/Certification.
• Perform all other duties as assigned. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and BLS Certification current. Education: Graduate of an approved training institution. Experience: Previous on the job experience preferred, but not required.
