Job Description:
The Vocational Director is a full-time exempt salaried position devoted to managing our inclusive vocational services for neurodivergent job seekers in the Roaring Fork Valley. This position will oversee the entire Vocational Department that delivers community-based vocational rehabilitation services year-round. This position is engrained in the community and daily work environment will depend on clients needs. Heavy collaboration with the Transition Director during the school year to ensure each student can access employment year round. The Vocational Manager reports to the Roaring Fork Director (RFD) and will be responsible for communicating with the client, clients family, DVR unit, employment site, and RFD to dictate when, where, what, and how services are conducted.
Job Duties:
- Oversee the entire Vocational Department that delivers community-based vocational rehabilitation services year-round to clients with disabilities from Aspen-Glenwood Springs
- Responsible for managing 6-8 job coaches, and clients for year round inclusive employment programs. On-call and emergency support for job coaches on the job during work hours.
- Provide one-on-one job coaching, vocational training, and personal adjustment training to clients living with disabilities in community-based settings.
- Assist with major vocational partnership developments and program expansions including but not limited to LiftUP, Aspen Skiing Company, St. Regis Hotel.
- Help expand services to more job seekers in the Roaring Fork Valley and meet with potential employers to set up competitive work-based job opportunities for clients living with disabilities.
- Support administrative operations of client notes review communicate with the Roaring Fork Director, employment agencies, client, and client’s guardians to ensure a client-centered employment approach.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and directorship team
- Collaborate with Transition, Programs Directors and CTRS
Start date:

Who we are looking for:
- A passion for serving the disability community
- Bilingual in Spanish & English
- Degree in Recreation Therapy, Human Services, Vocational Rehab, Business, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Special Education, Disability Studies or related field. 4 years of equivalent experience in the disability community/supportive employment services are highly considered.
- CTRS/LSW/Masters in Special Education Prefered
- Completed background check
- High organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in entry-level personnel management
- Ability to effectively work in google business and zoom
- This position is based in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado
