We’re Cook Inlet Housing Authority – we develop, own, and operate a portfolio of affordable rental housing in the Cook Inlet region of southcentral Alaska. What You’ll Do: 

Strategic Leadership 

• Define and execute IT and data strategies aligned with organizational goals and emerging trends. 
• Consult with leadership to leverage technology and analytics for organizational improvement and growth. 
• Manage IT budgets and optimize resource allocation for maximum impact. 

Data Strategy and Analytics 

• Lead data governance efforts to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and security. 
• Drive adoption of analytics tools and platforms to enable data-driven decision-making. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and create actionable reporting solutions. 
• Implement and manage BI tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks. 

IT Operations 

• Oversee design, deployment, maintenance and security of IT systems, infrastructure, and cloud solutions. 
• Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of all IT operations and systems. 
• Lead software development, systems integration, and vendor management. 

Team Leadership 

• Build and mentor a high-performing IT and analytics team. 
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. 
• Set clear goals and drive continuous improvement across the team. 

What We’re Looking For: 

Education and Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. 
• 10 years in IT leadership or business intelligence, with 7 years in database design, analytics, and reporting. 
• Proven experience leading teams and managing large-scale IT projects. 

Skills and Expertise 

• Advanced knowledge of data analytics, BI tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI ), and programming (e.g., Python). 
• Expertise in enterprise systems, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and IT governance. 
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, and project management skills. 
• Nerdy, but able to patiently translate complex ideas into understandable concepts for the rest of us.
