We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with skills in small business clerical duties to help us with our busy office. The individual in this position will assist in maintaining the physical office environment by answering the phone, greeting clients, handling the mail for the office, providing clerical office support to staff, and should be proficient in Microsoft Office. The successful candidate will have experience, or a desire to learn, reconciling bank accounts, preparing payroll tax reports, and working with accounting software.
Responsibilities
- Answering phone and greeting clients
- Processing mail
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Preparation of payroll tax reports
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Performance of bookkeeping services in accounting software package
Qualifications
- Clerical office support: 2 years (required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent phone etiquette and front desk skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
