Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team preferably someone who has experience in the sign industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling and fabricating metal components, with a strong understanding of welding techniques and safety standards. This role requires proficiency in using various power tools and equipment to build high-quality products that meet industry codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Perform welding tasks using various methods including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding.
- Utilize power tools to cut, shape, and finish metal parts as required.
- Fabricate sheet metal products efficiently and accurately.
- Operate cranes and other machinery safely to move heavy materials during the fabrication process.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and standards for quality and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Skills
- Proficient in assembly techniques for metal fabrication.
- Strong welding skills, particularly in FCAW and Stick welding methods.
- Experience with power tools used in metalworking.
- Knowledge of ductwork fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with sheet metal properties and handling techniques.
