What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiac Nurse Practitioner position at Cookeville Regional Medical Center System?
This position assists with the management of Cardiac Service Line patients. In this role, the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will assist with patients that have been admitted into the Cardiac Service by the cardiologists. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant may assist the Cardiac Service Line Physicians with admission of patients, patient rounds, consults, history and physicals, discharges and other duties with their scope of practice.
Associates/Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
Master's Degree in Nursing required
DEA required
BLS / ACLS required
One to three years Cardiac NP experience preferred. New Graduates considered with previous cardiac experience.
