About Us : Cookie Finance is a rapidly growing technology-driven accounting and tax firm that works exclusively with content creators and social media influencers. We work with clients across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and other platforms. Our CookieJar software platform is used by our customers and employees to manage finances and grow creator businesses.
Position Overview : We are seeking a talented software developer to join our fast-growing engineering team. This is a full-stack position and we are seeking someone that can design scalable and well-crafted frontend and backend systems in Typescript. This is a hybrid position with expectations to work in our Syracuse office 3 days a week and 2 days from home. You will report to the CTO.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and enhance our web application (Node / React) using Typescript and GraphQL
- Design and optimize data models in relational and non-relational databases
- Contribute innovative ideas in an entrepreneurial environment
- Architect code system and frameworks that can be adopted by the development team
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team
- Collaborate closely with non-technical team members to refine product ideas
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve development processes
