Job Overview : As a Delivery Driver / Installer, you'll be the face of our company, delivering and installing merchandise directly to our valued customers. You'll be responsible for not only logistics but also customer service, ensuring each delivery leaves a lasting positive impression. Your role will combine professional driving with hands-on installation of large appliances, all while maintaining a courteous and ethical demeanor.
Key Responsibilities :
Deliver & Install : Safely deliver ,and potentially install, merchandise to customers' home or business with utmost care and consideration, ensuring all products are hooked up according to installation instructions.Follow the delivery schedule : It is your responsibility to get the delivery to the customer on time and in good condition.Customer Service : Provide superior customer service by maintaining professional communication and a positive attitude with customers and team members.Think ahead : Be prepared to do your job well. Think of ways to improve your efficiency and share these ideas with others.Safety & Compliance : Operate delivery vehicles safely and courteously, follow all traffic laws, and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.Product Handling : Load and secure merchandise to prevent damage during transport and delivery.Warehouse Assistance : Support warehouse operations by preparing and distributing merchandise, as well as maintaining cleanliness and order.Problem Reporting : Immediately report any damaged or missing merchandise, customer complaints, traffic citations, accidents or injuries to your supervisor.Minimum Qualifications :
Commercial Driver’s License : Must hold a valid CDL with a good standing record.Physical Fitness : Ability to lift and carry items up to 75 pounds without restriction.Certification : Lift gate certification may be required.Background Check : Must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal / theft background check.Additional Responsibilities :
Attend training meetings as required to stay updated on company policies and procedures.Wear company uniforms or adhere to the company dress code, maintaining a clean and professional appearance.Properly dispose of packing materials, debris, and appliances as directed.Why Join Us?
