Whether we're planning an unforgettable culinary trip, hosting In-Person Weeks, or welcoming new team members with curated experiences, we're driven by a simple mantra : Make Something People Want .
This is where you come in.
About the Role
As our People Experience Coordinator , you'll be at the center of life at CookUnity's New York Community Hub. Picture yourself welcoming a team member who's visiting for the first time, making sure the CU Apartment feels like a second home for a traveling team member, or curating an In-Person Week that combines collaboration, learning, and maybe a little fun around the table.
Your role will be as diverse as the team you're supporting. You'll make sure our people feel cared for through the seamless execution of events, a perfectly stocked coffee corner, or a thoughtful gesture that brightens someone's day.
Your Day-to-Day
Every day brings a new opportunity to make an impact. You'll start the morning by ensuring the NY Community Hub is ready to welcome the team, from stocking supplies to creating an inviting space that feels like home.
Some days, you'll dive into onboarding activities, prepare merch for new hires, and guide them through their first steps at CookUnity. On other days, you'll be knee-deep in planning an In-Person Week, coordinating schedules, venues, and team-building activities that foster connection and creativity.
You'll also keep an eye on the CU Apartment, ensuring it's guest-ready with fresh supplies, amenities, and meals.
And because you're metrics-obsessed, you'll track engagement and retention data, using insights to improve the employee experience continuously.
Whether you're organizing logistics for a Board Dinner, arranging a leadership meeting, or brainstorming new ways to bring our culture to life, you'll be the person who makes it all happen.
Who You Are
You're someone who thrives on creating meaningful moments for others. With a background in HR, hospitality, or employee experience , you know how to make people feel welcome, supported, and connected.
Organization is your superpower—you have an eye for detail and can juggle multiple tasks without missing a beat. But what really sets you apart is your love for fostering community. Whether it's through a thoughtfully planned onboarding session, a team dinner, or a perfectly stocked coffee station, you understand that the little things can make a big difference.
You're also driven by data, with a keen interest in metrics like engagement and retention. You're constantly looking for ways to improve and bring fresh ideas to the table.
Here's what you bring to the role :
- Proven experience in HR, employee experience, or workplace culture roles .
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
