Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the development and management of sales initiatives and goals for the companies assigned product lines within their assigned region.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Develop profitable and sustainable sales in assigned territory.
  • Discover business opportunities and improve sales strategies, analyze market trends, customer information, and competitor data.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive connections with clients and important accounts.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the management team.
  • Develop and implement innovative programs, sales initiatives, and strategies to capture key demographics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Recommend service and product enhancement to improve the sales potential and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain sales reports and activity logs to evaluate performance by documenting customer interactions and maintain data related activities and accounts.
  • Participate in promotional / networking events such as conferences, trade shows, professional organizations, and community business events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Complies with the general operating policies and procedures of the company.

Candidate requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field required. Relevant work experience in the sale of high capital equipment considered in lieu of degree.
  • 10 years of experience in a proven sales position.
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Flexible and adaptability to change and short notice travel plans.
  • Effective communicator, negotiator and closer.
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude preferred and Manufacturing experience and understanding highly desired.
  • Experience with multi-product-oriented companies, high-tech applications, large capital equipment and direct sales initiatives.
  • Must have a driver’s license and passport.
  • Domestic and International travel required 40%.
  • Compensation :

    Compensation Range : $120,000 to $150,000

    This range includes base pay and commission potential. Additional benefits include the following :
