Cooley Group is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our Team.
We are looking for a teammate to manage cross-functional efforts to expand Cooley’s brand awareness, improve our customer engagement, and enable greater lead generation through marketing campaigns and initiatives. Cooley Group is a manufacturing company with a diverse range of products spanning six business units: Health Healthcare, Containment, Waterproofing, Print Media, Sign & Shade, and Custom Solutions. Each business unit requires its own marketing strategy and execution requirements. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for directing these efforts for all 6 business units.
At Cooley Group, the Marketing Specialist will report to the Business Architecture & Change Management Team, the team at the center of our corporate strategic initiatives. As a mid-size manufacturing company with facilities in Rhode Island, South Carolina, and Ontario, Canada, we require a marketing manager who is agile and adaptable; someone not only willing to change, but motivated by it.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define, develop, and execute a marketing strategy for each of Cooley’s business units: Healthcare, Containment, Waterproofing, Print Media, Sign & Shade, and Custom Solutions.
- Collaborate with the Business Architecture & Change Management Team to expand Cooley Group’s overall brand recognition and social media presence.
- Maintain a marketing calendar and annual marketing budget that accounts for all 6 business units.
- Project manage marketing projects to strict deadlines.
- Collaborate with our external partners and vendors to direct the execution of our marketing collateral (including sell sheets, brochures, samples, and other sales tools).
- With the help of vendors, coordinate the strategy and execution of our participation in tradeshows, and other industry networking events.
- Collaborate across departments to further the company’s strategic goals and meet sales objectives.
- Maintain and develop our website strategy in collaboration with our web team.
- Measure the effectiveness of our marketing and sales initiatives using market research and performance analytics. Present this data to the Executive Team bi-annually.
- Perform additional duties as requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of marketing, sales, or advertising experience
- Preference for B2B marketing experience
- BS/BA in Marketing or related field of study, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
- Ability to reflect on the effectiveness of a given strategy and rework the approach whenever necessary.
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn on the job.
- Collaborative
- Willingness and ability to travel on a limited basis across the US and Canada
