The Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients within a medical or dental office. This position is responsible for coordinating treatment plans, managing patient communications, and supporting the overall operations of the practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical administrative support and possess excellent organizational skills to facilitate effective patient care.
Duties
- Greet patients and assist with check-in procedures to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Coordinate treatment plans by discussing options with patients and answering any questions they may have.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with patients regarding their treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure that all necessary information is communicated effectively.
- Handle insurance verifications and assist patients with understanding their coverage options.
- Provide administrative support within the office, including managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Stay informed about medical terminology and office procedures to enhance patient interactions.
