CoolToday has an immediate need for a Staff Accountant.This position will work directly with the Controller on all areas of financial reporting and budgeting focusing P&L Analysis on general ledger, balance Sheet Reconciliation,accruals, deferrals, and account analysis. Responsibilities
What Will I Do?
Transaction Recording: Accurately record bank and credit card transactions in the accounting system on a daily basis.
Bank Reconciliation: Prepare monthly bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions and resolve discrepancies.
Documentation Management: Maintain organized records of bank statements, credit card statements, and transaction documentation
- Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and relevant regulations
Qualifications
Do I have What it Takes?
- Strong system savvy, including Excel proficiency and ERP experience (Sage Intaact a plus)
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Solid analytical & problem-solving skills
- Strong ethics and ability to keep information confidential
- Excellent communication skills
