Joe Cooper Ford of Shawnee is accepting applications for an additional Service Advisor. Our Service Advisors are responsible for:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all automotive service and repair matters
- Communicating effectively between customers, managers, and technicians
- Listening to and understanding customer problems
- Arranging appropriate service/repairs
- Setting and managing expectations for customers and technicians
- Explaining needed repairs and recommended maintenance to customers
- Ensuring customer satisfaction with repair quality and timeliness
- Working productively in a fast-paced team environment
- Delivering world-class customer service
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience preferred
- One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred
- Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
- Highly professional and dependable
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer and internet skills. Experience with CDK and/or X-Time preferred
