Job Summary :
To provide functional support and expand capabilities in the areas of Operations (Supply Chain / Manufacturing / Warehousing experience) systems design, IT solution design, and administration. The role is responsible for ensuring that the Operations systems and their interface to corporate business systems is fit for purpose and meets the changing needs of Ops IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of the organization and its customers.
- Identifies effective solutions to operational issues - transaction processing - business information etc.
- Documents, edits and reviews requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
- Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for new systems, new interfaces, new processes, and new requirements.
- Evaluates local and global system development proposals and provide analysis and recommendations to local management on likely impacts.
- Provide expertise and problem resolution to the functional departments when issues extend outside the knowledge of the functional department Key Users
- Research, communicate and demonstrate "best practice" opportunities for the local / regional organization, allowing key decision makers and local / regional managers the opportunity to leverage "best practice" as a strategic and competitive advantage for the organization.
- Manages Operational system deployments.
- Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
- Communicates and applies project standards.
- Consistently delivers high-quality services to the packaging systems user community.
- Plan and lead testing, implementation, training, support, and documentation activities for local / global projects.
- Assist developers - internal and external - through provision of functional specifications and technical walk through.
- Provide reporting to local management on Project progress and issues.
- Resolve technical issues.
- Request and specify modifications.
- Leads testing efforts.
- Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Works with the users to identify required changes.
- Communicates needed changes to internal and supplier development teams.
- Manage the standard CooperSurgical global release cycle, including analysis, design, test, implementation, support, and documentation.
- Facilitate communication, cooperation, and knowledge sharing with the end user community across the regional area and with the other local / regional Business Analysts to ensure a global system.
- Able to capably use available system tools (Business Objects / Power BI, SQL, Microsoft D365 reporting tools) to gather and prepare data for reports and analytical tasks.
- Designs or prepares reports using approved system tools.
- Uses prepared data to perform analysis of system behavior and respond to ad-hoc reporting requests.
- Support End User documentation of end-to-end processes flows, business scenarios, Work Instructions, and SOPs
- Guide End Users through critical test cases and process variations in the system
- Lead preparation of demonstrations and system walk-throughs for new releases, change requests, and optimization phase design and build.
- Support testing efforts, including business process testing.
- Support functional design and configuration.
- Support Hypercare for global D365 F&O implementations, including office hours support for SuperUsers.
- Support change impact analyses of new releases and change requests to enable accurate, timely communication to business stakeholders on the change to come.
- Where possible, support delivery of D365 F&O Training for global End Users using various formats (classroom, VILT, etc.)
Support preparation of training exercises, knowledge checks, and supporting data for training programs

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $66,636.00 and $ 88,448.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
