What you will do:
- Provide mechanical and electrical repairs of power generation systems.
- Effectively diagnose, repair, adjust and recondition diesel, natural gas, and liquid propane engine driven generator sets.
- Performing scheduled service and troubleshooting tasks on customer generators.
- Maintain truck inventory.
- Ensuring scheduled service activities are performed correctly and on time
- Identifying potential problems ahead of time and be proactive implementing solutions.
- Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day.
What you will bring:
- Strong customer service skills and inter-personal communication skills.
- Experience as maintenance and/or service mechanic.
- Experience trouble shooting repairs of power generator equipment and/or diesel engine experience.
- Intermediate computer literacy.
- A valid driver license
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- The ability to sit, stand, and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
- The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
- The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
Salary Range: Based on experience, $25-$40/ hour
Location: Ocean, NJ
Work Hours: Mon - Fri, Floating On Call hours.
