KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consistently demonstrate outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, providers, and staff.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance to certify patients’ rights and confidentiality are consistently protected
- Facilitate Community Advisory Committee Meetings (setting agenda, communicating multiple times each month, publishing minutes, etc.)
- Facilitating progress on action plans
- Participating in employee engagement activities, such as collections for charity donations, holiday planning, recognition events, committees or teams.
- Project management as needed
- Collaborate with department staff for Quality Assurance.
- Identify problematic areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action to correct issues
- Analyze and problem solve issues with current and planned systems as they relate to the integration and management of data
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Plan, build, and execute training related to routinely used data sets and systems in use in the clinic
- Data Capture and Reporting
- Develop, maintain, interpret and implement data collection systems, databases, training processes, data systems necessary for projects and department functions that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Acquire and abstract primary or secondary data from existing internal or external data sources
- Perform data entry, either manually or using scanning technology, when needed or required
- Create and present quality dashboards
- Generate routine and ad hoc reports
- Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Public Health, Statistics or four (4) years’ experience with data acquirement /reporting. Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands, demonstrate high level of organizational skills and analytical ability. Experience in statistics, at least to the degree necessary in order to communicate easily. Experience in data mining techniques and procedures and knowing when their use is appropriate. Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner. Ability to effectively problem solve and to work with minimum supervision. Must be experienced in Microsoft applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and in the preparation of charts and graphs for presentations.
- TRAITS & SKILLS: Must be self-directed/self-motivated; must have good communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated analytical skills including problem solving, strategic thinking, organizational planning, visioning, and communication. Must be at ease and highly experienced in communicating with and relating to the medical staff representing a vast array of specialty areas. Ability and desire to work in a team environment handle multiple demands and respond positively to changing priorities. Must be persuasive, enthusiastic, proactive, and persistent.
