Job Overview :
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Regional Director at Cooper Machinery Services holds the key responsibility for the Profit and Loss (P&L) of their designated geographical region. This role encompasses the oversight and management of all business, commercial and manufacturing functions within the region. The Regional Director is tasked with making pivotal operational and business decisions to achieve and exceed revenue targets, reduce costs, and maximize profits, all while ensuring the highest quality of service delivery to our clients. A central aspect of the role is to demonstrate exceptional leadership in articulating and driving business goals, programs, and processes across the region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Commercial Strategy Leadership : Lead Sales teams in developing and executing commercial strategies and solutions that align with customer requirements and exceed business goals.
- Regional P&L Leadership and Oversight : Assume a leadership role with a focus on strategic direction and management of the regional Profit and Loss (P&L). This includes overseeing operational strategies, resource allocation, and financial performance across the region.
- Strategic Vision and P&L Management : Develop and articulate a clear vision for the region's growth and profitability, implementing strategies to drive financial success and operational excellence.
- Financial Performance : Achieve revenue, profitability, utilization, and budget targets, accelerating sales activities to grow the region's businesses profitably.
- Operational Oversight : Manage the machine shop, repair and manufacturing facility that produces compression and engines components for gas compression product line.
- Monthly Regional Review Development and Presentation : Regularly develop and present comprehensive monthly reviews for the region, encompassing operational performance, financial results, and strategic progress updates.
- Efficiency Initiatives : Implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, service quality, asset utilization, and reduce total supply chain costs in conjunction with Corporate Operations.
- Sales Target Achievement : Ensure the attainment of sales targets across various product lines within the region.
- Regional Inside and Account Management Team Oversight : Manage the regional inside and account management team, coordinating operations across the West region.
- Problem Solving and Objective Development : Utilize experience and expertise to address challenges, developing and executing objectives for the sales and Ops teams.
- Safety Compliance : Actively promote and Drive compliance with Safety for the region.
- KPIs and Reporting : Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to provide insights into Field service utilization, resource management, and overall field service performance. Identify process improvements to meet or exceed KPIs.
