Cooper Mechanical Solutions is looking for a Payroll / HR Administrator to join our team! If you have experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR operations, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
- Collect timecards and approvals from Project Managers and Service Department
- Manage prevailing wage rates and certified payroll reports
- Oversee direct deposit, ACH transfers, and tax filings (federal, state, local)
- Track 401(k) loans, benefits enrollments, and employee terminations
- Maintain company attendance records, vacation/sick time, and OSHA 30 tracking
- Assist with transitioning from paper timecards to mobile entry
Benefits Administration:
- Coordinate open enrollment, work with brokers, and analyze insurance plans
- Process and approve medical, dental, vision, disability, life, AD&D, AFLAC, and FSA
- Maintain COBRA compliance and monitor HRA/FSA reports
