What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Property Manager position at Cooper Multifamily Services LLC?
The Assistant Manager will assist in the collection of rents from residents, processing evictions and assisting residents with supportive housing assistance. Candidate will work at the central office and will collaborate with onsite property management to contact and coordinate. Candidate will make over 75 outbound calls per day and interact directly with the residents via phone and email. This is an in office position.
What We Expect From You :
- Contact residents to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
- Confer with residents in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment.
- Record information about status of collection efforts.
- Assist with evictions by coordinating with the County Sheriff and eviction crews.
- Ensure amounts are paid to property management.
- Understand and adhere to the guidelines in the resident's lease.
- Adheres to federal and state Fair Housing Laws as well as all company policies.
- Supports team in achieving the goals of the property.
What is Required of You
- High school diploma or GED.
- Property Management experience required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license.
- Position will be located in our Fashion Island / Newport Beach office.
- Bilingual a plus.
