Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Press Operator to join our team. This position will be the primary operator for a 23” x 29” 5-color sheetfed press. While experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic, dependability, and a desire to grow and work hard. The current owners are open to sharing profits and extending ownership to the right person that can be part of the company’s future leadership team and succession plan.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM is also an option)
Full-Time with overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate printing presses to produce various printed materials.
- Monitor the printing process to maintain quality standards and make adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment
- Inspect final prints for quality control.
- Follow job specifications to ensure accurate and timely production.
- Coordinate with team members to meet production deadlines.
- Assist with additional responsibilities as dictated by the production schedule, which may include bindery, delivery, or other functions.
Requirements:
- It would be ideal to have experience or knowledge of the printing industry but willing to train the right person.
- It would be ideal to have knowledge of quality control procedures in printing but willing to train the right person.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Good attendance and dependability.
- Ability to work independently with good time management.
- Strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail.
- Good physical condition (must be able to stand for long periods, lift and move large stacks of paper, and work within tight areas around the machine).
Compensation: $20-$28 per hour based on experience
