IT Technician/Help Desk–Part Time
Locations: on site between Asheville & Mill Spring, NC Campuses
Schedule:
- Varied schedule-weekdays
- Up to 10-15 hours per weeks
- Some weeks more with vacation coverage or special projects

Pay: Starting at $19.00 per hour and increases based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot protocols on hardware, software (e.g. laptop, desk computer, network, phones, printers)
- Ability to install and configure computers, printers, phones
- Provide efficient and courteous customer service, sometimes under stressful conditions
- Act as a technical resource to assist users
- Document all work via a ticketing system and update date tickets daily
- Maintain documentation of technical maintenance procedures
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years experience in IT support in a service desk or field technician role
- Associate’s degree in information technology (or in process of attaining degree)
- Certifications: CompTIA A ; Network and Security certifications preferred
- Basic networking skills
- Understanding the function of computer systems in a business environment
- Ability to describe technical information in easy-to-understand terms
- Preferred experience with Electronic Health Records program
- Preferred experience with Microsoft 365 Tenant Administration, Intune Administration
- Preferred knowledge of Micrcosoft operating systems and maintenance, backup hardware and maintenance, VOIP platform usage
