As an Assistant General Manager, you’ll help oversee a multi-faceted high-volume full-service restaurant, with a retail component and Wine Club program. As a Cooper’s Hawk Brand Ambassador, you’ll be responsible executing exceptional operations during shift execution, from the food we serve from our scratch kitchen to the Guest service we provide in our restaurant. You’ll provide Management and Hourly Team Members with leadership and development, while partnering closely with the General Manager to achieve restaurant goals and build the Wine Club Community by educating our guests on the program and inviting them to join.

Oversee overall restaurant operations and complex departments including Service and Tasting RoomAdhere to policies and manage assigned operating systemsEnsure collaboration between kitchen and front of house operationsRepresent company values and create a respectful, positive, and professional work environmentManage people by :Participating in hourly team member hiring
Training and verifying team members’ understanding of Cooper’s Hawk Winery & RestaurantsReviewing and approving front of house department schedules in a timely mannerDeveloping other Managers, including all Restaurant and Kitchen ManagersBe responsible for overseeing training for Managers in Development, Lead Restaurant Trainers and new Team MembersFocus on service & food standards and assist General Manager with weekly inventory procedures when neededBe responsible for maximizing financial and operational results, as well as weekly financial reporting and inventory audits with General Manager oversightBuild and maintain Wine Club Community, by ensuring our Front of House Team Members have the training and resources needed to educate guests about our wine club program and invite them to joinEffectively operate computer systems including a POS System, Online Team Member Scheduler, Inventory / Ordering software and the Microsoft Office SuiteMaintain safe, secure and healthy work environment and food safetyWhat You’ll Need
3-4 years of supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant. Scratch kitchen experience preferredA minimum age requirement of 21 yearsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read, understand and communicate in EnglishDemonstrates financial acumenProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteIs results-driven; able to coach team to hit restaurant targets (i.e. Wine Club Community growth)Preferred certifications include ServSafe and state / local licensing requirementsMust be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.Must be able to stand for at least 10 hours per shiftMust have the ability to work 50-60 hours per weekMust be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and some holidaysMaintains a professional image by adhering to guidelines listed in the Team Member HandbookCooper’s Hawk reviews several factors when establishing compensation.
