A new, casually elegant, fine-dining restaurant is coming to Friendswood! We are looking for one experienced restaurant general manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working. Fine-dining GM experience is preferred.
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant to ensure excellent service, quality, and profitability. This includes overseeing staff, maintaining operational standards, and implementing strategies for growth.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth functioning
- Manage and motivate restaurant staff to provide excellent customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Handle customer complaints and feedback effectively
- Prepare and manage budgets, including cost controls and financial reporting
- Coordinate with marketing teams to promote the restaurant and attract customers
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals and updates
- Oversee training and development of new employees
