The Soil & Water Conservation district in COOPER County is accepting applications for a full time District Specialist.
Tasks include: Stakeout, & Design of conservation practices, interpersonal communication, computer design work, Word processing, file maintenance, & general office duties. The successful candidate must be able to work in any kind of weather, cross rough terrain, and be able to navigate ARCGIS systems, Trimble units, etc. Good computing skills & basic farm knowledge are a must! All relevant training will be provided. Must have a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, & pass a Federal background check. Benefits include: Annual leave, sick leave, health, vision, dental, & retirement.
The successful candidate will be stationed in Boonville, MO in the USDA office.
Starting salary is $16.83 with chances for advancement.
