Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with Corporate leadership to develop and manage the annual business plan and related forecasts including the timing, requirements and deliverables
- Collaborate with the global functions and Product Line FP&A teams to provide consolidated variance analytics for the annual business plan, forecasts and actuals including CFO presentations for GLT
- Prepare and analyze budgets for balance sheet accounts including necessary accruals; prepare cash flow forecast and trend analysis
- Consolidate monthly financial outlooks including risks and opportunities
- Support quarter close / year-end close including all variance analytics, audit requests, MD&A and alignment with Earnings presentations
- Support Board of Directors communications / meetings
- Work closely with Investor Relations and Treasury to support external activities including but not limited to investor outreach and rating agency evaluations
- May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant financial experience supporting FP&A, preferably in a global manufacturing environment (automotive is a plus). While direct leadership experience is not required, a track record of influencing peers and/or business partners is strongly preferred. Prior experience in FP&A preferred (regional/divisional/corporate).
- Education: BA/BS in Accounting or Finance is required, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present highly complex information in a clear, concise manner; comfortable presenting to senior leaders
- Act with a bias for action in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Able to be flexible and think creatively with the willingness to change, adapt and grow
- Unquestioned integrity and values that the organization can trust without reservation
- Advanced computer skills particularly in Excel and Powerpoint as well as experience with HFM, Oracle and ERP (SAP preferred
