Job Description : Job Summary :
The Cooper Standard Corporate FP&A and Functional finance teams in Northville, MI has an exciting chance for a financial analyst to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, data analysis and financial planning. The role offers exposure to cross-functional collaboration, providing valuable insights into the broader business operations and dynamic world of corporate financial management.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Support the North America SGA&E month-end close activities
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly and annually SGA&E reports and conduct variance analysis between actuals vs. budget / forecast
- Support the development of annual SGA&E budget in coordination with department heads
- Monitor and update SGA&E forecast, ensuring they align with business strategies, and provide insights into any potential budget overruns or savings
- Track and analyze SGA&E spending patterns across departments, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvement
- Collaborate with different functions to gather financial information, understand business operations, and support strategic initiatives
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency within finance and operational functional teams
- May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.
