Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Receptionist to coordinate clerical responsibilities and ensure seamless office operations. The ideal candidate will assign tasks, resolve problems, and maintain effective communication with the Office Manager to address inter-departmental issues.
The selected individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with hospital and departmental policies regarding safety, drug storage, and front desk procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cordinate receptionist and clerical tasks to maintain efficient office operations
- Assign tasks and resolve problems to ensure smooth operation of the office
- Maintain effective communication with the Office Manager to address inter-departmental issues
- Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies regarding safety, drug storage, and front desk procedures
Requirements
Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Receptionist and medical assistant in a physician's practice is preferred.
Skills:
Typing speed of at least 40 wpm, computer literacy, excellent telephone and communication skills are required.
Education:
A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
Licenses/Certifications:
- A graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by NJAC(13:35-6.4) approved certifying body AND current certification from a recognized certifying board approved by NJ Board of Medical Examiners.
- Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
