Description:
The Critical Care Nurse will utilize critical thinking skills while functioning as a part of the multidisciplinary health care team to coordinate and deliver care to critically ill patients.
Float to
Duties include: Accountable for nursing care provided to assigned patients through admission and transfer up to patient discharge. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patients. Obtains, compiles, interprets and incorporates patient data into the plan of care for the patient and documents the same; demonstrates effective teaching skills with colleagues and patient families. Incorporates quality improvement data reflective of nursing standards, into clinical practice.
Education Requirements:
Graduate of approved school of professional nursing with current licensure in the State of New Jersey. CPR required. Minimum two years Critical Care experience required, ER or
