Job Summary
As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in conducting MRI procedures with precision and accuracy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough patient interviews and screenings prior to MRI procedures to ensure safety and identify any potential contraindications
- Performing MRI procedures in accordance with established radiologist protocols, utilizing advanced equipment and technology
- Initiating studies, transferring images, documenting patient history, and completing studies within the EPIC/EMR and PACS systems
Preferred candidates will have experience with cardiac and pediatric cases, although this is not a requirement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum requirements include:
- 1 year of experience in MRI imaging (preferably with exposure to cardiac and pediatric cases)
Education and Certification
A graduate degree from an approved AMA RT Program and current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) are required.
