Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate receptionist and clerical tasks to ensure seamless office operations
- Assign and resolve problems to maintain smooth office functioning
- Maintain inter-department communication for problem resolution with Office Manager
- Ensure adherence to hospital/departmental policies on safety, drug storage, and front desk operation
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year experience as a Receptionist and medical assistant in a physician's practice (preferred)
- Typing speed of at least 40 wpm
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Excellent telephone and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by NJAC (13:35-6.4) approved certifying body
- Current certification from a recognized certifying board approved by NJ Board of Medical Examiners
