Essential Functions

• Checks incoming box for requisitions to process Reviews requisition and picks order for delivery to requesting area. Reviews inventory levels of assigned areas to determine stock replenishment
• Delivers and stocks area via cart, flat bed truck or hand truck after replenishment items have been determined. Assists on the Receiving Dock when necessary. Unloads freight from loading dock and puts stock away in its proper location of the storeroom using proper stock rotation.
• Restocks assigned Remote Stock Locations (RSL) unit 2x/day. Performs routine cycle count of assigned RSL. Reviews stock expiration dates on a monthly basis. Is proficient in EHS applications – Stock Issues, Stock Transfers, On-Line Requisitions, physical inventories, scanning.
• Performs cycle counts as requested/assigned. Informs supervisor of computer count inaccuracies, or difficulties with low stock or stock outs. Is cross trained in Receiving, Linen, Mailroom, Copy Center and other functions as assigned. Drives the hospital vehicle as required. Delivers hospital mail to the Post Office, then returns to hospital with mail for the mailroom to pick up and deliver supplies to various offsite locations
• Takes cardboard from packaging and takes to the cardboard compactor. Keeps storeroom shelves and floors neat and orderly. Maintains proper stock storage procedures, i.e. no boxes on the floor, proper height requirements 18” clearance from sprinkler heads, check expirations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
